Computer Accent Codes

To make these letters and accents, make sure the "NUM LOCK" is on, then hold down the ALT key while putting in the numbers on the right-hand number keypad:

á = 0225                     Á = 0193

é = 0233                     É = 0201

í = 0237                      Í = 0205

ó = 0243                     Ó = 0211

ú = 0250                     Ú = 0218

ñ = 0241                      Ñ = 0209

¿ = 0191                       ¡  = 173

« = 174                        » = 175

                    ª = 166                        º = 167                    

Another quick way to put an accent mark on a lower case vowel is to hold down the Ctrl key, press the apostrophe, then the vowel.  This will not work on capital letters, however.
