The Flemington-Raritan Regional School District will be closed on Monday, May 25, for Memorial Day.
Thanks to the tireless efforts of the Color Run Committee, volunteers, sponsors and local agencies, the 10th Annual Color Run was another great success. This community event is a long-standing tradition here at FRSD thanks to the commitment of those who make it happen and the enthusiasm of those who participate. We hope everyone enjoyed the day. Our school nurses are an essential part of our learning community, providing expert care and support to our students and staff each day. On this School Nurse Appreciation Day, we thank them for their steadfast dedication and for keeping our students safe, healthy, and ready to learn.

FRSD is pleased to announce that Dr. Tarah Santaniello has been appointed as our new Director of Pupil Personnel Services, beginning July 1. Dr. Santaniello received her Doctorate of Educational Leadership, a Masters Degree and an Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology from Rowan University. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Ursinus College with a Minor in Education and Human Behavioral Development. Currently, Dr. Santaniello is the Director of Special Services for the Dunellen Public School District. She was formerly the Coordinating Supervisor of Special Education for the Parsippany-Troy Hills School District. Dr. Santaniello began her career as a School Psychologist at North Hunterdon-Voorhees School District. Welcome, Dr. Santaniello!
FRSD is pleased to announce that Mrs. Tanya Lopez-Gonzalez has been appointed as our new Director of Curriculum and Instruction. Mrs. Lopez-Gonzalez received her Masters of Educational Leadership and a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education (English) from Montclair State University. Currently, Mrs. Lopez-Gonzalez is the Director of Curriculum & Instruction for Allendale School District. She was formerly the Director of Curriculum & Instruction at Livingston Schools and Assistant Director of Education: Curriculum and Instruction for Summit School District. Mrs. Lopez-Gonzalez also has prior experience as a Literacy Coach/Interventionist for both Summit and Livingston schools. She begins July 1. Welcome, Mrs. Lopez-Gonzalez!

Join the RFIS Family Makers Night & Art Show on Tuesday, June 2, from 5:30–7 PM at Reading -Fleming Intermediate School for a free evening of creativity, innovation, and hands-on fun! Families can explore student artwork, STEM and technology projects, robotics, stop-motion animation, 3D sculpture challenges, digital art, pottery demonstrations, and more. Guests will also have the chance to participate in interactive “make and take” activities, games, and collaborative art experiences.
