Spring 2026 Husky Hangouts Descriptions
Dear RFIS Families,
In partnership with Dr. DeMarco and District leadership, the RFIS PTO is proud to continue our after-school activity program, Husky Hangouts, to take the place of prior year's clubs, which were impacted by budget constraints.
Spring Husky Hangouts registration opens at 7pm today, February 17th, and closes at 11:59pm on Friday, February 27th. Descriptions are attached to this email.
Husky Hangouts will be similar to last year's clubs in many ways:
Only RFIS Teachers are the advisors of Husky Hangouts;
Many of the students' favorite clubs are returning as Husky Hangouts;
Husky Hangouts will take place from March 23rd through June 5th;
Husky Hangouts will cost about the same as last year, at $50 per club, with some exceptions due to the cost of materials.
There will be some changes, however, including:
All registration for Husky Hangouts will take place digitally on PTBoard; there will be no paper registration forms to submit to the Main Office;
All payments will be made on PTBoard, using credit card, Venmo or Paypal;
There will be automatic waitlists on PTBoard when Husky Hangouts reach their maximum enrollment. The waitlist will be notified if a spot opens up, in order of registration;
