This past week, many fourth graders began serving as Service Corp leaders, an opportunity that allows students to take on leadership roles and serve as positive role models for the entire school community.
Service Corp students help lead the school’s daily video morning announcements, giving all Robert Hunter students a chance to get to know the fourth-grade leaders they’ll see throughout the school day. Leaders also help promote safety and remind students about school expectations.
Service Corp responsibilities will rotate among fourth-grade classes throughout the year, giving every fourth grader the opportunity to serve as a leader at some point during the school year. We’re proud of these students for stepping up and making a difference in their school community!

The Flemington-Raritan Regional School District is proposing a $30.3 million referendum centered on the unifying vision of strengthening our schools while preserving our future.

Congratulations to Robert Hunter School on earning Silver-Level Recognition through the New Jersey Safe Routes to School (SRTS) Program! This statewide program recognizes schools and communities that take meaningful steps to make walking and bicycling safer, healthier, and more accessible for students.
Robert Hunter earned this recognition by demonstrating a commitment to encouraging students and families to walk and bicycle to school, while promoting safe routes and active transportation within the school community. Their efforts support the SRTS goal of “Where it is safe, get kids walking and bicycling; where it is not safe, make it safe.”
We are proud of Robert Hunter School for helping create a school community where students can safely incorporate walking and bicycling into their daily routines. Congratulations to the Robert Hunter community on this well-deserved recognition!
