Summer may have just begun, but we're already looking ahead to an exciting new school year...and we need your help!
Students are invited to record a 15–30 second video sharing what you love about school, what excites you about learning, your hopes for the coming year, or a message for your teachers and school staff. Selected clips will be featured in a special back-to-school video for our faculty and staff in September.
📅 Videos are due by July 31. Email your student video to laura.bruhn@frsd.us.
Thanks for joining the fun. We can't wait to hear from you! Check out this flyer:

During the tour the students shared with Commissioner Director Kuhls many attributes of the garden and the sustainability projects they are involved with in and outside the school building. They also shared their research on reducing pesticides, setting a late Spring start date for landscapers to use blowers, community trash clean up days, and how to incorporate native plants in the unfinished green wall on the Flemington circle. The students also made sure to ask him to sign the National Wildlife Federations Mayors’ Monarch pledge supporting Monarchs and pollinators.
A monarch butterfly fluttered through the milkweed and coneflowers, during the tour, showing its support and appreciation for the students' efforts to grow and protect more habitat. Way to go, Huskies!
