Reading-Fleming Intermediate School 5th-Grade Language Arts/Social Studies Teacher Hannah Azofeifa-Ureña was selected as the Fred Cotterell Social Studies Teacher of the Year for the State of New Jersey. She was presented with this distinguished award at the September 11 Flemington-Raritan Board of Education meeting by Executive Director Hank Bitten from the New Jersey Council for the Social Studies along with school and district administrators. Her family and colleagues were thrilled to celebrate her achievement too. Congratulations, Hannah!

Back-to-School Nights are coming up soon! These events are an opportunity to meet teachers, learn about the curriculum, and ask questions. Each school will share a schedule for the evening with families. Mark your calendar:
September 15 - Early Dismissal at 12:44 PM, Gr. 7-8 only - JPC Back-to-School Night
September 17 - Early Dismissal at 12:40 PM, Gr. 5-6 only - RFIS Back-to-School Night
September 18 - Early Dismissal at 1:20 PM, Gr. PreK-4 only - Elementary Back-to-School Night.
September 15 - Early Dismissal at 12:44 PM, Gr. 7-8 only - JPC Back-to-School Night

Thank you for your patience regarding transportation for elementary school bus runs. They are running behind schedule and are delayed.
They're here! We are so delighted to welcome all students to school for their first day. We hope everyone enjoyed meeting their teachers, making friends, learning new schedules and getting the new year underway! Thank you to all of our families for their patience and our fantastic bus drivers for their efforts too! This week, remember to be at bus stops about 10 minutes early and expect some delays in the first few days as we're all getting used to new routes and routines!
