We have so much to celebrate at Barley Sheaf!
A huge thank-you to our amazing PTO for funding the materials for our Outdoor Learning Classroom in the courtyard! Our students love taking their learning outdoors, and we’re so grateful to have a beautiful space that makes these experiences possible. Mrs. Allgier recently led a “Bear Chat” with our staff, sharing fresh ideas and inspiration for making the most of this special space. We’re excited to see all the ways our educators and students will continue learning and growing outdoors!
Meanwhile, our new STEM Lab is buzzing with curiosity, creativity, and hands-on learning! Our students are loving the opportunity to explore, experiment, build, and problem-solve in this exciting new space. We can’t wait to see where their ideas and imaginations take them!
We’re also incredibly proud of Mrs. Lango and Mrs. Schrum for representing Barley Sheaf and sharing their expertise at the Inspiring Sustainable Futures through Innovative K–5 STEM Conference! We love seeing our educators share ideas, inspire others, and continue to grow as leaders in STEM education.

This Friday, September 25, is our first Walking School Bus of the school year! Please see your email for information about our four walking routes and pickup locations. We hope you’ll join us as we walk or roll to school together! We can’t wait to see you there!
The Flemington-Raritan Regional School District is proposing a $30.3 million referendum centered on the unifying vision of strengthening our schools while preserving our future.
