Raritan Township Community Day will take place Saturday, September 19, from 12:00–5:00 p.m. at Lenape Park, 115 Sergeantsville Road, Flemington. FRSD will be there. Stop by and visit our booth! Click to view the flyer.

We had a wonderful event last Thursday evening—Popsicles on the Playground was a huge success! Many families came out to play, reconnect with friends, meet new classmates, and enjoy a refreshing popsicle before the start of the school year.

We also celebrated with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony for our new playground equipment, generously donated by the PTO. Designed with accessibility in mind, the new Sensory Wall helps make our playground an even more inclusive space where all students and community members can enjoy meaningful play experiences.

The Flemington-Raritan Regional Board of Education invites interested citizens of Raritan Township to apply for appointment as Raritan Township representative on the Board. The term of the appointment will run until December 31, 2026.

To become a member of the Board, an applicant must:

• Be able to read and write;
• Hold U.S. citizenship and one year's residency in Raritan Township;
• Have no interest in any contract with or claim against the Board;
• Not hold office as mayor or member of any municipal governing body within the Flemington- Raritan
Regional School District;
• Be registered to vote in Raritan Township and not be disqualified as a voter under N.J.S.A. 19:4-1; and
• Satisfy a criminal history background check pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:12-1.

Candidates should send a resume and cover letter to: Flemington-Raritan Regional School District Board of Education, attn.: Ms. Tanya Dawson, 50 Court Street, Flemington, NJ 08822 or via email to Tanya.Dawson@frsd.us.

The deadline for submitting a resume and cover letter is Monday, August 17, 2026 at 3:30 p.m. The Board anticipates interviewing candidate(s) on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at the Board’s regularly scheduled meeting.
