This strengths-based, structured support group is open to 7th and 8th grade girls and gender non-conforming youth. It is based on the evidence-based Girls Circle model developed by the One Circle Foundation. Girls Circle provides a safe, inclusive space where participants can build self-esteem, confidence, and communication skills, while developing healthy connections and mutual support. Through guided discussions and creative activities, participants are encouraged to explore their strengths, express themselves, and connect with peers in meaningful ways.

MAGNET PROGRAM SHOWCASE INFORMATION
On Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at 6:30 PM, Hunterdon Central Regional High School is hosting a Magnet Program Showcase, which will provide you with information on the academies offered through Hunterdon Central’s Magnet Program as your student starts considering their options for high school. Did you know there are currently six academies? They are Architectural Design, Biomedical Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Media & Communications, and Robotics - all offered at Hunterdon Central! In addition, the Performing Arts and Learners to Leaders Education academies will be launched in 2026-2027.
The Showcase is a great opportunity to explore the academies and talk with the teachers and current academy students. Hunterdon Central’s Magnet Program offers students opportunities to pursue specialized programs that empower them to focus on a particular passion or career area - all while staying at their home high school! Each academy consists of a cohesive series of three or four courses and includes opportunities for dual enrollment or articulated college credit, an industry-valued credential, or both. Students will conclude their Central academy courses with a capstone-type experience, which can include an independent research project, an internship or mentorship experience, and/or an independent student experience such as a college course or a credential. Students who successfully complete an academy will earn an endorsement on their high school transcript.
You can learn more about Hunterdon Central’s Magnet Program here: https://www.hcrhs.org/academics/program-of-studies/magnet-program.
We hope you can join us on October 28th at 6:30PM for this special event! The Showcase will be held in the Commons in the 11/12 building, which is the main building on Junction Road attached to the fieldhouse. Please enter through the main glassed entrance.
