J.P. Case Arts Shine at Teen Arts Festival!
Our talented J.P. Case Middle School music and art departments recently made a splash at the Teen Arts Festival held at the Hunterdon County Library.
It was a busy and rewarding day for our student artists and musicians:
Musical Excellence: Our select ensembles—including the Jazz Ensemble, Studio Orchestra, Tigerettes, and Chorale—all delivered standout performances and received professional adjudications.
Artistic Showcase: Beautiful student artwork was selected for display, where students received valuable critiques on their creative pieces.
Congratulations to all our students for representing J.P. Case with such talent and dedication!

The Paul Robeson Renaissance Award
A special congratulations to Shayden Jestine for receiving the evening’s highest honor! This award recognizes a student who, like Robeson himself, excels across every area of school life.
Congratulations to all our nominees and winners! You represent the very best of J.P. Case!
Last night, several of our students were honored at the Paul Robeson Youth Achievement Awards. These awards carry a special weight for us here in New Jersey, as Paul Robeson was one of our state’s greatest heroes.
Born in Princeton and a graduate of Rutgers University, where he was a valedictorian and an All-American athlete, Robeson was the ultimate "Renaissance Man." He was a world-class singer, actor, and a fearless advocate for civil rights. He showed the world that a person from New Jersey could reach the highest heights of scholarship, athletics, and the arts all at once.
We are so proud to announce that our students are carrying on that legacy! Please join us in celebrating:
Scholarship: Congratulations to Maya Cierkowski and Addyson Weinlein for their dedication to academic excellence.
The Arts: A round of applause for Syriah Laidlaw for her exceptional talent and creativity.
Athletics: Congratulations to Remee Jackson, who won for her incredible versatility and skill across multiple sports!
Service: We recognize Kwame Howell, who won for his leadership and commitment to serving others.
The Renaissance Award
Finally, we are thrilled to share that the evening’s highest honor—the Paul Robeson Renaissance Award—was presented to Shayden Justine. This award is reserved for a student who truly embodies Robeson's multi-talented spirit, excelling in every area of their school life.
Congratulations to all our nominees and winners! You represent the very best of JP Case.
