• 8th Grade Health Mental Illness
     
    During this unit you will be studying Mental Illness.   Mental Illnesses are diverse.   They affect people from all different walks of life.   Diagnosing, recognizing and understanding mental illness is important for people to be able to effectively live together.
     
    This unit will give you the opportunity to explore the different Mental Illnesses and give you the understanding to be sympathetic to those affected.
     
    The Project
    Complete the graphic organizer on mental/emotional disorders using the information on the Teen Health and Wellness database. This is a subscription database so you must log in using the school's login - jpcase - and password.  Check with your health teacher for the password.  Also check with your health teacher about the project due date, and any other requirements.
